Religious School - Temple Concord Syracuse

Temple Concord’s Religious School is a place filled with creativity, connections and learning. Through creativity and innovation we inspire students to build strong Jewish identities, make decisions based on Jewish morals and ethics and to continue on a path of lifetime Jewish Learning and participation. We strive to make our students’ learning relevant and meaningful. The learning that takes place gives students the tools to live Jewish lives.

By being involved in synagogue life, encouraging your child(ren)’s participation, and being a role model (dugma,) in the quest for lifelong learning, parents become our partners in these endeavors. These partnerships are an integral part of everything we do.

Each of our teachers is passionate about Jewish learning and building connections with our students. They bring experience, creativity and compassion to every aspect of their teaching.

K-7th grade meets Sunday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm. 8th-12th grade participate in Epstein on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Enrichments to Classroom Learning

In addition to curricular topics covered in each grade our school offers numerous other learning opportunities. On Sunday mornings classes will be enhanced with music (weekly), art, and library time (once each month). Students will also pick a chug (activity) that they will participate in regularly. The Chugim not only allow for learning something different, but lets the students in grades 3-7 interact with students from other grades.
